This question tests knowledge of who achieved the first solo non-stop voyage around the world. Robin Knox-Johnston did this in 1968-69 aboard the small 32-foot boat Suhaili, becoming the first person to sail solo non-stop around the globe as part of the Golden Globe Race. He completed the circumnavigation without stopping for resupply or help, marking a historic milestone in sailing. The other sailors mentioned are notable for related feats but did not achieve this particular record: Drake’s voyage was crewed and not non-stop, Chichester completed a solo circumnavigation with a stop, and Ellen MacArthur later completed a solo non-stop circumnavigation but not the first.
