What British sportsman holds a number of English Test cricket records?

Recognising England’s great all-rounder who set numerous Test cricket records. Ian Botham is celebrated for contributions with both bat and ball, making him one of England’s most prolific performers in Test cricket. He’s known for achieving the celebrated double of 5,000+ Test runs and 300+ Test wickets, plus unforgettable passages of play such as his outstanding performances in the 1981 Ashes. These achievements have earned him a place among England’s most record-holding cricketers. The other names come from football, motor racing, and sprinting, not English Test cricket, so they don’t fit the idea of holding multiple English Test cricket records.
