The important idea here is identifying which awards event is tied to British theatre. The Laurence Olivier Awards are the premier honours for theatre in the United Kingdom, run by the Society of London Theatre and recognizing achievements in stage productions across London’s West End and beyond. They’re named after the famed actor Sir Laurence Olivier and include categories like Best Play, Best Musical, acting awards, and design. The other options celebrate different art forms: the Man Booker Prize is for novels, the Brit Awards for music, and the Turner Prize for contemporary visual art. So, the awards event that celebrates British theatre is the Laurence Olivier Awards.
