Which of these countries did not fight on the side of the Allied Powers during the First World War?

This question tests your knowledge of which nations fought with the Allies in World War I. Serbia fought with the Allies from the start, and Italy joined the Allies in 1915, with the United States entering the war on the Allied side in 1917. Bulgaria, however, chose the opposite path and allied with the Central Powers—Germany and Austria-Hungary—around 1915 to pursue its own regional goals, including regaining territories in the Balkans. Because Bulgaria aligned with the Central Powers rather than the Allies, it did not fight on the Allied side.
